The Murray Wrapped Bale Handler is designed for handling big round bales wrapped with plastic film without causing damage to the film.
The Bale Handler consists of a rigid box section frame with two arms pivoted on the bottom. A double acting hydraulic cylinder is attached between the arms, two rotating rollers are then attached to the lower end of the arms. When the hydraulic cylinder is activated this allows the rollers to extend outwards to allow entry under the bale and then inwards to lift the bale.
A generous buffer plate on the front of the back frame prevents damage when driving forward to pick up the bale.
By extending the back frame, two sets of arms and rollers can be fitted to allow the operator to lift two wrapped bales at once.
To further enhance the use of the machine, a bale transporter top frame can be fitted to allow the operator to carry 4 bales of straw at harvest time.
